To read the article go to page 36 at http://digital.turn-page.com/i/252493. This month’s edition has many excellent articles and these can be found at: http://www.mtparent.com/
Here is a snippet of what you will find:
- Eating Healthy: Don’t forget the vitamins! I review the importance of Vitamin C in preventing the development of asthma and allergies. I discuss the good effects of Vitamin D in improving the response to inhaled steroid medications used for asthma and even how it can improve the immune response.
- Obesity: I review the effect weight loss has on improving asthma measure and outcomes.
- Exercise: I review the fact that exercise is a trigger of asthma, yet exercise-induced asthma can be overcome when managed appropriately.
Eat right, exercise and maintain a healthy weight! Yes, it is what our mother’s have told us all along and now there is proof to back it up. At Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana, we believe in common sense approach to good health and most of what our mothers taught us. I’m still not sure about putting a bar of soap at the foot of my bed to prevent muscle cramps!
