Dr. Michael Zacharisen | Allergy & Asthma Specialist
Dr. Zacharisen is board-certified in Allergy/Immunology and specializes in asthma & allergic conditions in patients of all ages. Before opening Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana, he served as a full-time faculty member at the Medical College of Wisconsin and was active in patient care and teaching. Dr. Zacharisen is known as an excellent physician who provides outstanding patient care and treatment options. He’s been recognized as one of the Top Doctors of America for the past 13 years, as well as a Top Doctor of Milwaukee.
Dr. Zacharisen graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin with an M.D. in 1988 and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He continues his commitment to excellent patient care and the education of future physicians by serving as Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in addition to running his private practice, Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana. He has consulting privileges at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital in Bozeman, MT. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Zacharisen is involved in the Evangelical Lutheran Churches of America (ELCA) and the Boy Scouts of America. He earned his Eagle Scout award in Colorado, his home state.
Penny Zacharisen is the Business Manager at Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana. Penny has served many organizations in various capacities, from colleges and universities to law firms and insurance companies. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa in 1981.
Penny believes that addressing the needs of an organization or individual along with creating a culture of resource assessment, training, and communication is immeasurable to a business.
Merissa is the Medical Assistant at Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana. Before moving to Montana from her home state of Colorado, Merissa attended Everest College of Colorado Springs where she earned her degree as a Medical Assistant.
Merissa is a compassionate, energetic, and personable individual who enjoys caring for others. She believes that integrity and commitment are key components to providing excellent patient care. When she is not working hard to improve her skills in all aspects of the medical field, she is dedicated to spending time with her family.
Trista is the Receptionist for Family Allergy & Asthma Care of Montana. She grew up in small-town, rural Montana, and graduated Valedictorian from Sweet Grass County High School. Trista attended Rocky Mountain College for two years where she studied Communication Studies and played volleyball during her freshman year.
She enjoys baking/cooking, hiking, good conversation, running, beach volleyball, kitties, a good cup of coffee, leading Young Life, dressing up, rainy days, and afternoon naps.
